Background information/psychosomatic medicine
Schulte-Uebbing has completed a number of advanced trainings on topics involving psychosomatic medicine and psychotherapy. At the Private Akademie für Psychopädie [Private Academy for Psychopaedia] (Director: Dr. J. Derbolowsky), he took all the courses for a certificate of added qualification in "Basic Psychosomatic Care" and has had this certificate of added qualification for many years. In the framework of the advanced training curriculum for additional qualification in Psychotherapy and for the title of Specialist in Psychotherapeutic Medicine at the Lehrkollegium Psychotherapeutische Medizin [Psychotherapeutic Medicine Training Council] in Munich (LPM e.V.), he took part in the Theory Seminars I (depth psychology, personality studies, test psychology, developmental psychology, learning psychology, psychopathology, psychodynamics of the family/group), II (general and special neuroses studies, psychodynamics/preparing opinions, eating disorders/bulimia/anorexia, borderline), III (depth psychology treatment technique, integrative psychotherapy, child and adolescent psychotherapy, depth psychology treatment technique, short psychotherapy, focal therapy, body-oriented psychotherapy). He also completed advanced training in psychiatric case seminars and family and couple therapy and routinely takes part in Balint groups and supervision.
